A very cool way of sharing joy from playing a video game. We make strangers play games together. Competitively. Next to each other.
Playing video games can be a very social thing, not only for the players involved, but for the audience as well. Are you familiar with people cheering at the sports events? Game tournaments can look the same. We have first-hand experience and we love it. On a big screen, usually outside, with a bigger audience, two or more brave players play a not such a well known video game, competing for prizes and glory.
Accompanied with a pre-tournament talk, this format became popular on summer festivals for combining education with pure digital sportsmanship.
